  13. Two stories:

  16. As a first year student, one of the weirdest stories I heard
  17. was related to the second floor pot fields.  According to 
  18. reliable sources, some drug pushers had acquired two rooms
  19. on the south side of the second floor of our dorm.  They then
  20. proceeded to set up a small "pot field" in the room and began
  21. harvesting and selling the proceeds.  They did not live in the
  22. rooms, they only used them to grow pot in.  They were eventually
  23. busted when the campus police say the pot through the window
  24. (how they saw it I don't know).

  27. The other story centered around a room in Smith Hall known as
  28. "the bar".  Supposedly you could go to this person's room in 
  29. the afternoon and early evening and purchase mixed drinks or
  30. beer.  A keg was kept in a special fridge.  The University had
  31. a dry campus policy, so all of this was strictly no-no.  The 
  32. ULish part about this is that the bartender supposedly had a
  33. way of getting free pop for mixing drinks that involved a 
  34. pop machine, a quarter, and some thread!!
