  28. on their hind legs trying to operate doorknobs.

  30. My cats have been banished from the cellar, as I keep coal down there, and
  31. they like to use it as a litter box.  One day, one of my cats was standing
  32. next to the cellar door howling.  I asked her what she wanted, and she stood
  33. on her hind legs, patted my hand and then patted the door knob on the cellar
  34. door.  She then repeated the action.
