  39. I think that this is one of the famous "unwritten"
  40. rules at most colleges.  At my school, if the prof
  41. wasn't there by quarter after the hour, he could 
  42. expect to find an empty classroom.

  44. I even checked  with the Dean of Students.  He said 
  45. there was no such policy.  They even tried to tell 
  46. students that they had to stay in class, but it 
  47. didn't work.
