  12. Well, your title begs for other people's ideas of uncool pranks, so I hope 
  13. you're ready for them!  Here's my contribution, which may or may not be common
  14. other places; I don't know:

  16. Here, the levers to the hot and cold water flow to the showers are behind the 
  17. wall in the bathroom, which means in plain view in the kitchenette (where we
  18. can nuke food and empty our garbage).  As a common practical joke, many people
  19. often turn off the hot water, leaving the people in the shower at the time very
  20. cold if they're not quick enough.  Unless the victim wants to instantly run
  21. naked into the hallway, there is virtually no way to catch the person who shut
  22. it off.  This is fine; no harm done.
  23. But some stupid idiots sometimes turn off the cold water.  I'm not gonna preach
  24. safety, but c'mon; this is dangerous!  I think if anyone was ever caught doing
  25. that, the whole floor would "have a little talk" with him...
