Just read an interesting article in New England Fisherman about late season surf fishing off Montauk N.Y. and was considering making a trip out that way.  I was wondering if anyone has done any surf fishing for either bluefish or striped bass in that area.  The article had a few tips on hotspots, prefered lures/bait, etc. but I'd appreciate any first hand information that anyone would be willing to share.  Since I do most of my surf fishing in Massachusetts, I'd appreciate any 
  14. info on places to stay in or around Montauk, Thanksgiving weekend.  Anyone know where I can get information on ferrys from Rhode Island or Connecticut?  What's the size limit on stripers in N.Y.
