  24. me my first fishing pole...

  27. trip and that was the beginning of a series of coming of age practices,
  28. all marked by fishing trips...

  30. I learned about life and respect and duty and beauty and art and god
  31. and right and wrong on these fishing trips...

  33. When my grandfather died some years ago, I celebrated his death with
  34. a fishing trip...
  35. just as he celebrated the beginning of my life with one...

  37. as for those fish you think you guard...
  38. I sort of doubt you have done as much as we fisherfolx in guarding and
  39. caring for their lives...

  41. you are right about one thing...
  42. those fish have an awesome beauty...
  43. and they make some of the finest meals I have ever known...

  45. as for warped and twisted...
  46. if we are the twisted ones, then so be it...
  47. all I know is that I feel perfectly safe when I come upon a fisherperson
  48. deep in the forest...
  49. but I never feel that safe when I walk in your cities and meet your non-
  50. fishing friends...

  52. the best thing I can think of in regard to your post is that I won't have 
  53. to worry bout your kind much...
  54. cause your kind don't mix with mine...

  60. (only thing I might mention is that I suspect the gulls and eagles
  61. and king fishers and ospray might take offence your remarks so you
  62. should probably be careful that the guardian of the birds doesn't
  63. get your number :)
