  27. men have more people actively interested in them than I do (at *least*
  28. seven each).  Neither of the men makes very much money...barely enough
  29. for them to live on.

  38. You *live* in my area, so I'm afraid you can't move here.  However, I
  39. was talking about a "circle of friends" kind of area, too, and you might
  40. be able to move into that.  I don't dispute that there are many people
  41. who are more interested in money than ideas.  However, most of the
  42. people I hang around with *like* working for their money and would not
  43. like being financially dependent on someone else. (For reference, I had
  44. a party recently and, just inviting all the people I consider
  45. medium-to-good friends, I ended up inviting over 100 people, fairly
  46. evenly divided between men and women.  So, I think there are plenty of
  47. such people around...)
