  11. Don't you hate it when some newbie you've never heard of posts some stupid
  12. signature, and when you warlord it, they claim it was bait.  Yeah, right.
  13. It's happened to me here and in alt.folklore.computers - somebody who's
  14. never posted before, or at least not enough so that I'd recognize thier name
  15. claimed something they posted was bait.

  17. Get a clue people:  If you haven't been around long enough so that people
  18. know you, then nothing you do can be counted as bait.  If you claim it was
  19. bait, then it just sounds like stupid after-the-event rationalization.

  21. Free clue: In this group, you're not ready to bait until you've exchanged
  22. so much mail from one or more of the ``inner circle'' that your mailbox is
  23. getting dangerously overfull.
