  25. The Lord of the Rings by Ralph Bakshi at least exists. I've seen it,
  26. and it wasn't a pirated copy. I would become *very* disappointed if
  27. the Rankin&Bass movies weren't available on video. Tell me it isn't true.

  34. I can find the Bakshi's animation, but it would be censored (?) 
  35. and it would have Finnish text, and I don't want that. So, PLEASE,
  36. tell me where I can get those (or at least the Bakshi).

  38. As for this newsgroup, I'm glad it got such a warm welcome. Be warned
  39. though, that some sysadmins don't like newsgroups that haven't been
  40. properly discussed of in alt.config. One such sysadmin sent me mail
  41. and refused to create alt.fan.tolkien in his system.
