  35. As a U.S. Marine, I pray to God that Slick changes his mind about  
  36. repealing the ban on gays in the military.  It's for their own good.  If  
  37. you thought that racist attitudes were deeply imbedded in America, wait  
  38. till you see the reaction of the military to gays.  They will be  
  39. persecuted intensely, probably even killed.
