  25. Andy, I believe that the above statement was made in an effort to continue 
  26. the dialogue and may or may not reflect how you really feel.

  28. Allow me to point out that the military in GodBlessTheUSA is under the 
  29. control of (gasp!) civilians.  That's right, non-uniformed nobs.  Beginning 
  30. with the Commander-in-Chief (the prez) extending through the various 
  31. secretaries (forgive my spelling) of the services.  I don't believe you hit 
  32. a uniform until the joint chief (what a concept) of staff.  In other words, the 
  33. military does what the civilians say they should do, at least in terms of 
  34. overall policy, certainly not day to day killing, raping and maiming, we 
  35. leave those decisions to the generals.
