  25. The PROBLEM, arises from UNSAFE intercourse and UNSAFE use of needles. (Note
  26. the keyword of UNSAFE).

  28. AIDS will not and cannot be transmitted between 2 individuals who DO NOT HAVE
  29. THE VIRUS. Regardless of their actions.

  31. If neither individual has the virus, then there is no way the virus can be
  32. transmitted, regardless of whether they engage in intercourse or IV drug use
  33. (whether or not this drug use is licit or illicit. After all, there are quite a
  34. few people in this country who take licit IV drugs, ie: insulin).

  36. The solution is to know your PARTNER. Regular testing is the only way to really
  37. know.

  39. Note: I am NOT ADVOCATING pre-marital sex nor the use of illicit drugs. I AM
  40. indicating that these actions in and of themselves are NOT a cause.
