-
- Let's be serious here, you could not be more wrong about an
- individual. You are not listening to what the man says, if you
- did you would understand your statement is not only wrong but an
- offense to his character.
-
- >Assuming television and the media are liberal institutions, why would he be
- >caught dead surrounded by liberalism?
-
- Television and radio are open to all, and Rush uses the resources he has
- to promote the ideals and concepts he and others believe in.
-
- >His audiance consists of old people who up till two weeks ago still had a voice

- >the last twelve years was functional for our country, are gloating right now
- >about the lower taxes they paid during Reagan/Bush.
-
- I am 29, and supported and still support the "old" people who have, had,
- and will always have a voice in American politics, and my taxes NEVER
- decreased during the 1980's, but hard work and the individual ability to
- succeed worked to improve the quality of my life and financial well-being.
-
- >Rush denies that their is anything wrong with OUR environment. That is not only

- >the quality of his drinking water or the air he breathes (living in NYC)?
- >That argument holds true for our corporate execs. They (their company) can pollute almost
- >without any interference from the EPA, but when the environment goes to hell they
- >can jet off to some foreign country to breath. Al Gore will stop this "Look the
- >other way" EPA enforcement of Pollution laws.
-
- There is no arguing there are problems with the environment, and they can
- be corrected. But not at the cost of thousands of jobs, and not by the
- direction of those extremists who have no understanding of the costs in
- both dollars and jobs. Yes corporations have to be responsible for their
- waste and pollution, no they should not be forced out of business or out
- of the country. I have worked with OSHA and EPA guidelines and paperwork,
- if this process can be streamlined, there will be better and more efficient
- cooperation.
-
- >Rush should know (or maybe he doesn't) that as a country WE elect our president,
- >not Republicans or Democrats, conservatives or liberals. We stood behind
- >Reagan/Bush as trickle down increased our Debt. We should now stand behind Bill
- >Clinton as he approaches the office that we elected him to. Meanwhile Rush can
- >continue his attacks on our President for the next four years.
-
- Let us what and see what Mr. Clinton and Mr. Gore do before we past any
- judgements, I do not have much faith in their abilities, there have been
- to many promises made.
-
- >Rush and all the other conservatives are scared to death that the baby-boomers
- >are slowly entering our government. Twenty five years ago our government tried
- >to oppress the "Counter Culture" by ending their rallies and demonstrations. Now
- >we elected two men who were taking part in those very same events. To scare you
- >some more, our president and veep also listen to the Grateful Dead. Isn't
- >America great?
-
- The only thing we have to be concerned about is the quality of the
- individuals, it does not concern me what generation they are from. It
- is of little importance what music they like, I also listen to the
- Grateful Dead. Conservatives are not scared of the baby boomers coming
- into politics, we are concerned about the direction of the individuals
- ideals and ideologies and the way they are implemented.
-
- America is great, and it will always be.
