- Why should we? After all, the truth had very little to do with most of what
- Quayle was reported to have said and done. This would be no greater distorion
- of the truth than, say, the alleged attack on single parents in the
- "Murphey Brown" speech.

- Big (Spender) Al will make a suitable VP. He is funny enough without the
- usual press distortion of the VP. Standup comics will likely get him anyway,
- after all ~60% of voters voted against him, which makes him an even bigger
- target than Quayle was.
