  22.     You aren't alone, I don't like LOTR either (I thought the hobbit was
  23. pretty impressive though). I've tried on about seven different occasions
  24. to read the "...rings" books but they just drag on and on without really
  25. getting anywhere (IMHO). I don't understand the problem at all cos I
  26. actually love the world he created (Middle Earth). I learned a lot about
  27. it whilst Fantasy Role Playing (mostly in MERP - Middle Earth Role
  28. Playing, strangly enough) but even with such enthusiasm for the world I
  29. still found the novels left my bits totally untickled.
