- Does anyone know if the BBC plans to sell copies of their
- radio version of "Guards, Guards"? If they will eventually be
- on-tape/CD (like the HitchHiker series) I'll patiently wait
- and order when available. If they won't be, then I'd like to
- find someone who will tape the series. Terry, (are you there?)
- you may know what has been planned for the series after it
- airs. How do you feel about folks taping the show?
-
- I was very sorry I didn't know about the video version
- of "Truckers" in time to find someone to tape it. But that all
- worked out when it was commercially released. A friend bought
- me a copy, I had it converted from UK PAL format to US VHS, and
- watched it for the first time this moring. It was Great!
- The video really captured the feel of the book. I hope they
- decide to make "Diggers" and "Wings." The video ended with the Concorde
- and a flight of geese, which lead right into the next books.
-
- This Thanksgiving several of us Washington DC area Pratchett
- fans will gather for dinner and a "Truckers" screening!
