- Does this *really* matter. Their styles of writing are completely different and
- there is no real basis for comparison other that the fact they are both Brits.
- DNA has written his books revolving aroung the lives of two (FORD AND ARTHUR)
- charcters and one rather snappy laptop/book (the guide). Pratchett on the other
- hand has written his books around a PLACE (the discworld) and only one charact
- er can lay claim to appearing in each book (DEATH) but he is not the major char
- acter in the books (MORT excepted) but really plays Cameo roles. It is only, fo
- r arguments sake, every 2/3 books that the characters used are the same (Equal
- Rites - Wyrd Sisters - Witches Abroad etc Weatherwax and co and similar book s
- paces for Rincewind). If we are talking about the best lines in each book thoug
- h then DEATH does seem to do very well for himself...
