  20. Hmm, I don`t really dislike LOTR, it is a good story, even if it isn't amazingly
  21. written, what I do hate is the endless drivel regurgitated by his son.

  26. Private Eye recently remarked "Tolkien wrote his fantasies to entertain his
  27. children, now they are employed by them".

  32. And now for a change of thread, if the "Guards,Guards" radio series is a
  33. success, hopefully Radio 5 will do more. We've had  the actor for the film
  34. role thread, how about a voice for the radio thread?
