- Give the man a break. I admit that the vast majority of his books are a
- chore at best, but he's done a lot for promoting the genre from a "kid's"
- type of fairy tale story to some actual literature. I can't stomach any
- of his stuff, except The Hobbit, which was a milestone in many ways. Let
- us have a little respect for the dead.
