- I just saw the new TCOM graphic novel when I went to buy the papaerback of
- Witches Abroad, on Saturday. Personally I thought it lacked a lot.
- Rincewind looked like an out of work longshoreman and Twoflower didn't seem
- to have enough eyes. The artwork was a bit charmless. I wasn't impressed
- so I didn't buy it.
-
- I think it's a bit like when they film any novel that depends for it's
- dramatic or humorous effect on some imaginative input from the reader.
- The moment the director/artist imposes an image on a character or event,
- most of us feel disappointed with the result. Same happened with the
- Lord of the Rings animation I reckon.
