  13. Steve's tube was stamped "received without contents." Hoho, that postal
  14. service of ours has rubber stamps available for CYA purposes.

  16. On Friday, I received a really nice packet of avian inventories for 81 state
  17. parks in Pennsylvania (Yes, Virginia, there really is such a thing as a
  18. helpful bureaucrat).  I know there were 81 because the cover letter said
  19. "enclosed are 81..." and I had to count them.  The manila envelope was open!
  20. I can't believe my guardian angel actually sat in a mail truck from
  21. Harrisburg to Hollidaysburg, holding that envelope shut.  What a doll.
