- Well...for me it happened while sailing out around the Hawaiian
- islands.
-
- We had just left on a two week passage when the
- captain, Dude was his name, flipped on the stereo and started
- what was to be the beginning of 12 days of Buffett tunes. We
- listened to those tapes all day and all night, and never got tired
- of them.
-
- I can still remember clearly, well...actually somewhat blurry,
- listening to 'A Pirate Looks at Fourty' as the sun set that first
- evening on the boat. The lyrics hit home, since we were sailing,
- and were the perfect audio backdrop while watching the islands
- disappear and the lights shine off in the distance.
-
- Geez...what the hell am I doing in an office...I need to go sailing
- soon.
