  20.   I just wanted to add my two cents here.  A couple of years back I basically
  21. made the same trip.  8 of us rented a 39' beauty named the Feather Bed
  22. and we spent a glorious week sailing around the Florida Keys.  One of us
  23. was a licensed captain so we didn't need to "rent" one - saved some bucks.
  24. We just took off early in the morning from Dickinson College (in PA) and
  25. drove a van and a small car straight through to Miami.  
  26.   We did this three years running - not always the exact same people -
  27. and it was quite possible the most fun and relaxing times I had in
  28. college.  I couldn't possibly recommend this more.  We played Buffett -
  29. of course! - sailed, swam, and drank boat drinks at all hours of the
  30. day and night...  And at night once you get away from Miami and all the
  31. light noise, the stars shine so clearly and the luminescent jeely fish
  32. glow in the dark warm waters... Ahh - it was amazing!  
  33.   Wish I could join you again but it looks like I'll be somewhere in
  34. the Caribbean this time and, as always, enjoying Buffett and boat drinks!
