-
- The Tyrell Corporation is a corporation in the movie "Blade Runner" (based on
- Phillip K. Dick's "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep"). They are the
- creators of the "Replicants", or what amount to organic androids. The
- Replicants are designed beings who look just like humans, but they have
- super-human strength and other plusses on their side. Unfortunatly (for
- them), they also have a lifespan of only a few years.
-
- Replicants are used by the Tyrell corporation to do deep space, and other
- off-planet work. Replicants are forbidden on Earth. (I think.) I might
- be wrong in a couple details, but I think that that is the gist of it.
- If you haven't seen "Blade Runner", I highly reccommend renting it from
- your local video store. =) It's a good movie.
