  16. In general, I agree, with one exception.  I never really listed much
  17. to "Gumbo Variations" on vinyl (I liked "Son of Mr. Green Genes" best
  18. there).  But, the extra minute or so of added material on the CD version,
  19. including the lead-in and several four-bar sections, seem to round out
  20. the concept of the piece.

  23. the vinyl into black powder. . . .
