- My friend, Bill Gilliland (skaven@u.washington.edu) went to a book
- signing by Dave Barry on the University of Washington campus. Bill
- mentioned that Dave's column is distributed on ClariNet, to which Dave
- responded,
-
- "Well, we always knew that computers would be used for some really bad
- purpose eventually."
-
- HA HA!
-
- I only wish that Bill had told me about it in time, so I could have sent
- my DB books to him to get signed. Not only that, but he didn't tell me
- about the Douglas Adams book signing in time, OR the Berke Breathed book
- signing. Aargh. What a booger head. To his credit, I did get him to
- get me a Berke Breathed book for Christmas, and he got it signed.
