  19. I believe the impeachment failed by one vote.  If RMN had not resigned, his likely
  20. impeachment would have been the first.  And, to tie this in with this newsgroup,
  21. Johnson's impeachment call was because of incompetence, wasn't it?  Of course,
  22. being in high political office during the pre-Civil War days doesn't strike me
  23. as being lots of fun.
