- Bill Clinton is incompetent? I don't think that anyone can deny that
- Clinton appeared to be a candidate who had weaknesses that the Republicans
- could exploit. But incompetent?! I don't think too many people will
- agree that Clinton is incompetent.

- I agree that we shouldn't underestimate the gullability and naivEty of
- the voter. I fear that Quayle could emerge as a presidental candidate in
- '96 precisely because of the gullability and naivEty factor (at least
- among the Republicans voting for him in primaries).
