  22. This isn't really a fair description of liberals... many of us want the
  23. government to stop interfering in our lives.  It is the conservatives who are
  24. trying to increase the power of government by allowing them to regulate
  25. morality.

  29. )liberals I have met bitter and seemingly miserable people, while the
  30. )majority of conservatives I have met are easy going people who seem much

  35.   1.  Too small a sample size.  If you know 6 people including two depressed
  36.       liberals, one happy liberal, one bitter conservative, and two happy
  37.       conservatives, it proves... nothing.  If you've interviewed ten
  38.       thousand people, and those proportions hold, you may have a point.

  40.   2.  We've had a lot to be depressed about, with 12 years of Reagan and 
  41.       Bush.  You might see some changes when Clinton takes over.  Life will
  42.       be improved, and we can be happy, while conservatives will be 
  43.       depressed.
