  22. Well, as a "non-traditional" college sophomore (I'm *ancient*!), I prefer
  23. to comfort myself with the belief that the young people you reference in
  24. #2 are just too damn stupid to know any better, and might, as their educa-   
  25. tion progresses, learn to develop opinions, rather that adopting Mommy and
  26. Daddy's.

  28. Case in point:  the sophomore Limbot who runs the editorial page at our
  29. school paper.  In a recent article, one of the few lately in which he
  30. hasn't been quoting Mommy and Daddy and his Frat brothers' opinions
  31. trashing President-elect Bill, he referred to the Native American
  32. population of the US as "indigent."  I'm pretty sure (at least, I *hope*)
  33. he meant "indigenous.  Sure, anybody's entitled to a mistake, but this
  34. is only one example from a record that would make Dan himself proud.
