  19. After the debate, NPR had the results from several groups who referee
  20. college debates.  They all gave Al Gore more points than Dan Quayle.
  21. Gore was clear and precise and got the facts across without resorting to
  22. name-calling and finger-wagging.  While being the loudest and most
  23. snide may make you the winner in an argument on the playground, it
  24. does not win you a debate.
