  23. Philip Perkins' and Scott Fraser's recent work has been a series of live,
  24. semi-improvised electro/concrete works for radio including THE REMOTES,
  25. performed by Perkins and groups of local musicians live on stations across
  26. America and Canada (1989); SURFACE TO AIR, a duet performed over a pair of
  27. dial-up telco lines to several radio stations in the US and for the CBC
  28. (1992); and THE ROSE WINDOW, being recorded for a forthcoming CD and
  29. readied for live performance. Their work has been described as "...the
  30. soundtrack to a very memorable dream." (Option). This evening they will
  31. present a new piece made for this occasion and talk about their past and
  32. present work.
