- I disagree with this point. The judging process for DCI is totally
- subjective. Since there is no "tick" system of accounting for mistakes
- (i.e., I saw five mistakes, therefore I record 5 ticks) one can only
- say that the judging process is subjective. How does a judge come up
- with a score of 29.9 for the Cadets drumline? Not always by objective
- means. Certainly, the people who judge for DCI have greater expertise
- and judgement than the average fan, but they are far from objective.
