  26. I think it's clear that selective breeding has increased the potency of
  27. cannabis dramatically. Two of my friends have also passed out, while using
  28. some exquisite Dutch strains.

  30. Cannabis has a pretty innocuous reputation that's well deserved. However, I
  31. think it's important that users are aware of potentially dangerous responses
  32. to _very_ strong weed, especially with unacclimated or unexperienced people.

  34. The Bush administration has vilified these new strains because of their
  35. potency. My experience has been that once you're familiar with them, the main
  36. difference between standard and potent strains is the amount of pot you smoke.
  37. Personally, I'd much rather smoke 2 bong hits of beautiful, tasty Haze/NL5
  38. than rape my lungs with 12 hits of shitweed any day.
