- (I think he probably takes Ritalin for Attention Deficit Disorder.)
-
- This sounds like he passed out due to a lack of oxygen to the brain. The
- same thing happened to me once (no drugs involved). I was watching TV,
- being very lazy, when I decided to get up and do something. I got up
- suddenly and walked briskly toward the door. My vision started to go black.
- If I'd had any presence of mind left, I would have dropped to my knees.
- I crashed through the door and *then* dropped to my knees (involuntarily).
- The next thing I remember was waking up with my teeth touching the floor and
- my nose bleeding. My thoughts went something like:
-
- Where am I? Summer camp? No, I'm in college. What college? UVA? No,
- Tulane. Where do I live?
-
- I took me a few minutes to get my bearings, but then I was OK (except for a
- bashed-in nose).
-
- It's a good idea to "warm up" to serious activity. Being stoned probably
- made your friend forget this.
