- Hmmm.. I've reading a large number of these files and extracting them for my
- own personal reference - mandatory drug tests, civil forfiture, policies based
- on creating an appearance rather than actually acheiving the stated aims - and
- now this. Private investigation company ... "name your conspirators" ... does
- all of this abominable crap remind anyone of the McCarthy Anti-Communist
- witchhunts that were just long enough ago for the public to have forgotten
- them? Almost as much fun as the real thing a few more years back - except
- these days we, the people, aren't allowed to kill anyone - yet - unless of
- course you happen to be passing through Asia.
-
- Has anyone in the American media made this comparison yet - "The Witchhunts of
- the 90s" - quite valid in respect to the way this farce is being carried out,
- and in the way that the modern targets are, in the main, just as harmless as
- the "witches" and "communists" of the last two rounds of lunacy. But who wants
- to be on the side of the bogeyman?
