  21.     I wouldn't be so quick to declare pot a better solution than
  22. steroids. While steroids may have lots of nasty side-effects, they
  23. work very well. Marijuana's asthma-relieving properties seem to be
  24. less consistent. First have your friend try smoking pot to see if it
  25. helps. If it does, great. If it doesn't, stick with the steroids. But
  26. don't ditch the doctor until you know for sure.
