- Personally, I believe that alt.drugs should *not* be split. There really
- isn't that much traffic on the group, and usually the only time splinter
- gruops are appropriate are if a) the total volume of the group is
- prohibitively high, and/or b) the specific discussions taking place are
- both not relevant to the general group and interfere with the general
- group. I just don't see those as being the case.

- Another problem -- if we created an .lsd group, wouldn't that obligate
- other groups (.marijuana, etc)? Would psilocybin and dmt discussions go in
- the lsd group? What about lsa? It's a sticky issue, and likely to cause
- more problems than it solves.

- alt.drugs has worked very well for a number of years (it was one of the
- very first alt.* groups to be formed). Let's keep it that way...
