  26. This overlooks the fact that growers have bred for increased potency.  Most
  27. smoking hemp is about 6 times more potent than it was during the 1960s, if
  28. memory serves me correctly.

  30. How to factor this in is unclear, because people like my mother no longer
  31. smoke hemp for the very reason that it's now too strong for them.  According
  32. to her the trouble all started when the Nixon administration had the mexican
  33. hemp fields sprayed with Paraquat.
