- I feel I need to relate a very similar experience. Me and a good
- friend were desperate for a high (extreme pothead) about two
- years ago. We bought a single joint from a FOAF. I felt as
- though we had been ripped off at the time, because it was a
- *very* small joint. Anyway, we left. Arriving back at my
- friend's apartment, we smoked the joint. After my first hit off
- of it, I began coughing hysterically. My friend continued
- smoking it until I could take another toke. After the second
- hit, I decided I had had enough, because I just couldn't handle
- how harsh it was, plus the amount of smoke rolling out of this
- small joint.
-
- Anyway.. After about five minutes, I was feeling *very* good;
- about how high I as have ever gotten from good skunk. However,
- after I recovered from my fit of coughing, I became more and more
- high. I started to think that it had been laced with PCP or
- something, because I was getting extreme hallucinagenic effects
- (both audible and visual). I heard people talking to me, who
- were obviously not there. I thought I saw the *wind* move
- outside. I was extremely stoned, needless to say. During the
- buzz (which lasted about 8 hours), I felt as if my entire body
- were vibrating intensely from some unknown force. Time literally
- stopped (to me, anyway). I could barely move, and I was afraid.
- I truly felt as if I were going to die at one point, because I
- felt so incredibly nauseus (sp). The only thing which was
- unpleasant during the whole buzz was the nausea I experienced.
- The rest of it was very, very strange, but was fun, and I had
- a great time, overall. It was *much* more hallucinagenic than
- LSD, and it was the most intense buzz I've ever personally
- experienced. Can anyone shed some light on perhaps why this
- happened? My friend said he didn't get nearly as high as I did,
- but he did experience some audible hallucinations. Looking back,
- I think the intense vibrations I felt were really my heartbeat.
- I'm not sure though; this was a couple of years ago, and that
- night is rather fuzzy. Thanks for any objective
- thoughts/comments in advance. Bye
