  11.     It's about that time of year so I was
  12. wondering if anybody has had experience preserving
  13. mushrooms.
  14.     I have only ever heard that they must be
  15. consumed fresh (AFOAF has had dried ones but they
  16. weren't all that good)
  17.     So i was thinking maybe its the process of
  18. freezing that destroys the goodies. If so then maybe 
  19. fresh mushrooms could be dropped into a thermosflask
  20. of liquid nitrogen, and then placed into a regular 
  21. freezer.
  22.     Has anybody tried this ?
  23. By the way does anybody know the pressure and 
  24. temperature that foodstuffs are freeze dried at ?
