  18. Ah, so we're into suicide today are we?  yes, protect the face & hands,
  19. you don't want to be too badly scarred in your coffin.  Next time, try
  20. using LAH only in an inert (N2) atmosphere -- conditions need to be
  21. rather completely anhydrous to avoid an explosion.  Also THF and diethyl
  22. ether both form explosive peroxides when exposed to air, and are two of
  23. the more evil solvents to work with.
