  12. The other night, before going to my hometown for the wedding of a highschool
  13. friend, I had a strange dream that got my heart pounding.
  14.  
  15. In the dream two of my friends from high school (the second of which killed
  16. herself last February) and I put the seconds friend's little brother on 
  17. gymnastic rings (his feet were in the rings).  The rings were setup next to
  18. a large swimming pool.  We were swinging him back and forth, when he went
  19. forward he would swing out over the pool.  Pretty soon I noticed that I was
  20. swinging in rings, only these rings were much larger and were set OVER the 
  21. pool.  I looked back toward the other rings and my two friends were there but
  22. the little boy was gone.

  24. I was swinging really high and didn't like it.  I thought if I could just 
  25. swing in more of an arc my feet would sweep the water and slow me down, but
  26. when I would get toward the top I would fall straight down and swing back up
  27. even faster and farther.  After a few times of this I realized I was going to 
  28. swing over the top of the bar (that the chains that the rings were attatched to
  29. were atttactched to) so I looked up and saw power lines in the way.  This was
  30. when I really got scared.  I realized the chains would go over the power lines
  31. and the bar then I would land in the water. . .

  33. That's when I woke up, my heart pounding so hard I didn't think it would ever
  34. lighten up.

  37. This dream has really stayed with me ever since.  So I thought I would share 
  38. and see if anyone had any good explainations.
