  18. Hello Stephen, I'm a beginner too, having started reading properly after
  19. a short break from things occult-ish... My first pack was the "Cagliostro",
  20. which has the normal and reversed meanings printed on the cards themselves.
  21. I don't use these cards now, having switched to the Rider-Waite. The
  22. Cagliostro Major Arcana carry quite nice designs (to me, anyway!) but the
  23. Minor Arcana are just like playing cards with the appropriate meanings.

  25. A recent speaker at the "Arcana Society" at Keele suggested meditating on
  26. the cards, and trying to derive your own interpretation. You should say to
  27. your cards: "Speak to me". The pack you choose should communicate a meaning
  28. to you.
