- 1. make sure you are as close as possible to the recommended
- weight limits set by insurance companies (no point in lugging
- around etra baggage)
- 2. if not, go on a lower fat diet, some recommend between 20 - 30
- % diet (your medical/school health office can help here)
- 3. then adopt a sport, i.e if not a jock don't despair but try
- and get into a routine where you are always doing something, but
- not more than 1/2 hour per day, enough to get to get aerobic
- levels up to age limit i.e so many heartbeats per minute
- 4. the local rotc office, if one is on your school can give you
- good guidance on building up from there. above all keep
- an open mind, expand your fitness and you'll walk all over
- the instructors (who also have to pay their mortages etc) when
- you get in....summary nothing special unless you're a jock and then
- if you are do less of it (i ain't one)
