  15.   Just because I was stateside dosent mean that I wasn't involved.
  16. Walter Reed Hospital recieved most of the wounded for processing out of
  17. the army. The Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, where I worked,
  18. was developing treatments for things like kidney failure through blood
  19. loss. The institute is working on treatments and vaccines for the
  20. diseases that soldiers caught in the mid east. A new antidote for nerve
  21. gas was in production.
  22.   I was in the army for years before D.S. And I was in it for about a
  23. year after. Believe me, most of us that got the ribbon EARNED IT!
