- Looking for pointers to over-the-counter devices that take in standard
- US telephonic signals, watch for DTMF, and write converted output,
- say, ASCII, to RS-232 serial ports.
-
- Ideal situation, although not required: multiple DTMF jack inputs,
- multiplexed RS-232 output---say, via some ASCII convention identifying
- source input jack along with the converted data.
-
- Bidirectionality useful, but not necessary. Full telephone signal
- processing not necessary. Aesthetic packaging not necessary.
-
- Prefer a low cost, stand-alone, dedicated device---not a bus board,
- not a DSP control program; nothing requiring a separate computer.
-
- Respond to me directly, and I'll summarize.
