  12. Something else that is applicable to this is the 1991 Telecommunications
  13. Act whic goes into effect in December of this year.  The act covers
  14. autodialers and various telemarketing aspects of buisness.  Here are a
  15. few of the highlights:  It bans junk faxes(unless the business has an
  16. established business relationship with you).  No calling before 8:00
  17. a.m. or after 9:00p.m(charities can call until 9:30p.m.).  Any
  18. automatic dialer machines must hang up if the other party does within
  19. three seconds.  And it also had many more rules conserning the
  20. computerized telemarketing call.  It also requires telemarketers to
  21. not call if you tell them not to.  If anyone has any specific questions,
