  15. CRT's SHOULD NOT be used at close range as you are doing! The X-RAY levels a few
  16. few centimeters from the screen are not a safe enough level for extensive exposure
  17. ure with SOME CRT's!!!

  19. Todays CRT's are safer than yesterdays as they let off much less X-RAY radiation
  20. but still the first few centimeters distance has coniderably more energy in the 
  21. the XRAY band than does 12 inches... ( inverse sqare of Distance relationship).

  23. You need to check into the specks of the CRT's you are using but until then I
  24. would restrict use of the HMD unless you favor the idea of eye cancer...
