  14. Most people in this group probably have heard and know
  15. a little bit about the BBC TV program DR WHO.  I was
  16. quite disapointed that the BBC in keeping with its history
  17. of killing off all the good shows, decided to cancel DR WHO
  18. in its 30somethingth season.  Quite sometime after accepting
  19. the fact that I will now see no new Dr Who shows, I heard
  20. of some new Dr Who books coming out, that are completely new,
  21. and have never been TV shows.  A few weeks ago, I came across
  22. one called 'Love and War', silly title, but I decided to give
  23. it a try.  While reading the book, I was surprised to find
  24. that the story involved something called 'puterspace' which
  25. was basically a different name for what we know as 'the matrix'.
  26. The book's not completely cyberpunk, but its certainly closer
  27. to cyberpunk that it is to the original type of Dr Who stories.
